At Elle Bee we love hot foiling. This is a traditional method of engraving a plate - magnesium or brass - heating a press, and then, one-by-one, manually pressing foil to make an impression into cardstock.

This method - unlike digital foiling which requires heat and lamination - creates a beautifully tactile and luxurious finish which is similar to letterpress.
